Hey there, I’m Aneessa! Originally from France, I’m a singer-songwriter with a passion for blending dance, smooth jazz, and urban contemporary vibes. You might know me from hits like "BACK TO LIFE," "Saint-Etienne," and "Just To Be With You," which even made it onto the Billboard charts!

I’m also proud to say that I’m the creative force behind Funk Therapy, the incredible band I envisioned and brought to life with my legendary husband, Michael B. Sutton. As a background vocalist, I get to collaborate with Michael and infuse our music with personal experiences, exploring themes of love and resilience.

Growing up with the funky sounds of the '70s and '80s, it’s been a dream come true to contribute to the revival of this timeless genre. Together, we aim to make a positive impact in the music industry and keep the funk alive.
